News Desk: The 30-foot-tall Netaji statue may be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the India Gate on August 15. It is learned that this statue can also be seen from Raisina Hills.
The statue is being constructed by the famous sculptor Arun Yogiraj, a resident of Mysore. He will reach Delhi today and start work. Meanwhile, huge black jade granite stones have been brought from Telangana to Delhi for the construction of the statue. Last year, on the eve of Netaji’s 125th birth anniversary, after PM Modi’s announcement, Advaita Gadanayak, director of the National Modern Art Gallery, and his team created the original granite sculpture.
