News Desk: Communal riots over stone pelting in Ram Navami procession in Himmatnagar and Khambhat of Gujarat.
State police said that the trouble started with the throwing of stones at a procession of Ram Navami in a Muslim-dominated area.
An old man was killed in a clash in Khambhat and three police officers were injured in a communal clash in Himmatnagar.
Police fired tear gas to bring situation under control and four companies of State Reserve Police Force were deployed.
As per last news, 9 people have been arrested in Khambhat and Section 144 has been imposed in Himmatnagar.
