Director Operations NTPC Ltd. Inaugurated Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM-2024) of NTPC Farakka
Md Nawaj Shorif, Natun Gati, Farakka: NTPC Farakka organised the inauguration ceremony of the Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM-2024) on 21st May 2024 at RLI PTS. It is an NTPC CSR initiative which is scheduled from 19th May to 15th June 2024, with 120 young girls from West Bengal and Jharkhand, representing 24 schools, joining the program.
The workshop was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri Ravindra Kumar, Director (Operations), NTPC Ltd., in the presence of guests of honor, Shri Sudip Nag, Regional Executive Director (ER-I & ER-II); Shri Arindam Sinha, Executive Director (OS) and Shri Ramakanta Panda, HOP Farakka.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest, Shri Ravindra Kumar, Director (Operations), NTPC Ltd., acknowledged the potential of GEM 2024 participants and emphasized the philosophy of the Girl Empowerment Mission, which is to encourage and nurture the dreams of the 120 girls.
