Ayman Nofal is the most high-profile Hamas militant to be killed so far in Israeli bombardment on the Gaza Strip.
Nofal, known by his nom de guerre Abu Mohammed, was killed on Tuesday in Israeli strikes that targeted the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip, the militant group said in a statement.
