India defeated New Zealand by 168 runs, clinched series 2-1

Debjit Mukherjee: India defeated New Zealand by 168 runs in the final T20 and clinched the series 2-1.

 

Coming to bat first India ended up on 234 with the loss of 4 wickets in their quota of 20 overs. Shubman Gill scored 126 off 63 balls. Supportive innings came from Rahul Tripathi and skipper Hardik Pandya.

 

Coming to chase, New Zealand lost their entire side on 66 in 12.1 overs, courtesy a brilliant bowling from skipper Hardik Pandya (16/4).
