Nitish Kumar took a swipe at PM Modi, says BJP should worry about 2024 polls

Debjit Mukherjee: Nitish Kumar, who was sworn in as the Bihar Chief Minister for the eighth time on Wednesday, took a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said he should worry about 2024 polls.

After the oath-taking ceremony, CM Nitish Kumar took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said “The party made the decision together. Whether I will stay or not they can say what they want, but I will not live in the year 2014”

“Those who came to power in 2014, will they be victorious in 2024? I would like all to be united for 2024” he added.

However, Nitish Kumar dismissed claims of being the prime ministerial candidate for 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
