Bihar: BJP-JDU alliance once again fallen apart

Debjit Mukherjee: BJP-JDU alliance once again fallen apart in Bihar after chief minister Nitish Kumar resigned from his post. Kumar made this announcement in front of JDU MLAs and MPs who had gathered in Patna for a meeting on this issue. His decision was supported by all the MLAs and MPs of his party.

Kumar gave his resignation to Governor Phagu Chauhan and it was accepted but he was requested to continue as acting CM of the state. The JDU allied with RJD and the alliance will take oath tomorrow at 2 pm.
