Rampurhat Case: “This report is vindictive” CM Mamata Banerjee attacks BJP over fact finding report

News Desk: At Darjeeling, on Wednesday, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee expressed her anger over the report presented by the BJP fact finding team in connection with the Rampurhat fire case.

Slamming the BJP over the report, she said “This report is vindictive. BJP’s behavior is highly reprehensible. I have seen their report. How can you take someone’s name without investigation? How do you know who is involved in the incident? In fact, the BJP wants him arrested”.

This morning, Bengal BJP president Sukant Majumder, Bharati Ghosh, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Braja Lal, MP Satyapal Singh and MP Shri KC Ram Murthy went to BJP All India President JP Nadda and submitted a report on the Rampurhat incident.

The report said “Mafias are ruling with the police and political leaders. The law and order situation has completely collapsed”

“This incident is nothing but the result of a state government-sanctioned tolabaji” the report added.
