Two huge pythons were rescued by the forest department staff in two villages in Rajnagar. A Giant python, about seven feet long, got caught in the net of a poultry farm in Natungram of Bhabanipur GP of Rajnagar Block. When the locals informed the Rajnagar forest department, the forest worker Bimal Mahato went to the spot and rescued the python. On the other hand, a six feet long python was trapped in the net of a poultry farm in Gurkata village. Forest workers Bimal Mahato and Sanatan Mahato rescued the python from there.
Later, the two pythons were rehabilitated in a safe place far away from the locality, said the forest workers.
