Debjit Mukherjee, Kolkata: La Ganesan took oath as the new Governor of Bengal. Besides Manipur, he will handle the additional responsibility of the Governor of Bengal.
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Biman Banerjee along with ruling party MPs, MLAs were present on the occasion. There was also Sudesh Dhankar, the wife of the former Governor of Bengal, Jagdeep Dhankar.
