Chief minister Mamata Banerjee handed over appointment letters to victim families of Rampurhat

News Desk: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee responded to the opposition with her work. At a press conference in Nabanna on Monday, she handed over appointment letters to the victim families of Rampurhat.

She said “People never come back with a job or financial help. But everyone has to move forward in order to survive. This step is for those who are there, so that they can live with dignity”. After that, she directed the district officials, including the district magistrate, to help the job seekers.

Roaring at the saffron party over coal and cattle smuggling case, she said “The coal mines are guarded by the CISF. The BSF has the responsibility to look into the issue of cattle smuggling across the border. We have nothing to do with it”.

“Cattle and coal are being smuggled from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Assam to Bangladesh. Why isn’t the center active in stopping the smuggling? ” she added.
