Death of Malda’s ‘Abul Kalam Azad’ Dr. Adil Hossain

Md Nawaj Shorif, Malda: Brain Stroke lead to death of 48 year old reputed doctor from Malda, named Adil Hossain. People used to respect him and call him ‘Abul Kalam Azad’ for his humble behaviour and helpful attitude. It is learned that Hossain is a resident of Harishchandrapur’s Garara village. His father Sattar Babu (80) is a retired primary school teacher and mother a housewife. His family also consists of a wife and two teen daughters. Coming to his helpful attitude and contribution towards society, Hossain used to run two nursing home in Malda in partnership. He had chambers all over Malda and used to run a chamber from his own residence. He used to give free services to those who are poor. He was also an Ayurvedic doctor. At his own nursing home he felt sick during at the operation theatre during an operation. Initially he was admitted at his own nursing home and later he was shifted to another nursing home in Malda. He died on Tuesday morning.
