Debjit Mukherjee: Members of the Hindu outfit Sanatan Rakshak Sena alleged Bollywood actor Aamir Khan of mocking and making fun of Hindu deities and stated that they were adamant on calling for an absolute ban on his movie Laal Singh Chaddha in Uttar Pradesh and across India.
The demonstration was carried out outside IP Vijaya mall in UP’s Bhelupur. The state president of the Sena’s youth wing, Chandra Prakash Singh, and its vice-president Arun Pandey said that they will request people to boycott Khan’s films and chief minister Yogi Adityanath to ban the film.
