Debjit Mukherjee: New Delhi’s strategy to counter China’s aggressive attitude. The world’s highest military air base will be built at Neoma in Ladakh. On September 12, Rajnath Singh will lay the foundation stone of the airport and 90 other defense related projects. According to the Ministry of Defense, Ladakh will be developed after the construction of this military airbase is completed.
