News Desk: Clashes broke out between two groups in Uttar Pradesh over controversial remarks made by BJP leader Nupur Sharma about Hazrat Mohammad a few days ago.
Stones were also hurled between the two groups at the Parade Market area of Kanpur on Friday. Several people were injured in the incident. To handle the situation, the Uttar Pradesh government sent 12 companies of PAC personnel. Police have filed cases against more than a thousand accused under the Gangster Act.
