Tirthankar Mukherjee, Murshidabad: On July 05, 2022, Jalangi Panchayat Samiti and Jalangi Block coming under the responsibility area of 141 Battalion of Border Security Force together organized a blood donation camp at BDO Office, Jalangi. The camp was organized from 1000 hrs to 1500 hrs. A total of 11 personnel of 141 Battalion donated blood in this camp.
The Commanding Officer of 141 Battalion expressing appreciation and state that by organizing such a program, awareness is created among the jawans and people about blood donation and it helps the needy people in times of need. Officer further added that “Donation of blood does not require money or strength, it requires a big heart and a free mind”. He also requested the people to donate blood as much as possible.
