Gunmen attacked Nigeria’s St. Francis Catholic Church in Ondo during Sunday prayers

News Desk: At least 50 died in a gunmen attack on Nigeria’s St. Francis Catholic Church in Ondo during Sunday prayers. The assailants abducted the church priest and fled the scene. The death toll is expected to rise as the condition of many of the injured is critical.

A video from the time of the incident shows the church in blood. The people who came to pray in the church are lying on that blood. Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed his condolences over the attack on the church. He said “The creatures of hell can do such a terrible thing. In any case, Nigeria will never bow before bad people. Darkness will never conquer light. In the end, Nigeria will win”.
