News Desk: Israeli warplanes shot down a Hamas base south of Gaza strip on Tuesday morning.
The Israeli Defense Forces said in a statement that “In response to the rocket attack by Hamas, the Israeli air force attacked one of their weapons factories in Gaza”.
Hamas spokesman Hazem Kasem, who claimed responsibility for the rocket attack, said: “I welcome all the fighters who have been killed. The way they fought is highly appreciable”.
