Farakka: RLI Farakka launched a Contract Worker Skill Development Training on 05-06-2023, targeting primarily C&I workers.
The training underscores the critical areas of Safety, Power Plant operations, and C&I discipline. Upon completion, participants will undergo an assessment by the Power Skill Council of India. Those who pass will receive an acknowledgment certificate, solidifying their proficiency in the covered topics.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by the Shri Ramakanta Panda, HoP Farakka, along with distinguished officials including the Shri Bijay Manjul, GM(O&M), Shri PV Kameswara Rai, GM(Maintenance), Smt. Vandana Chaturvedi, AGM(RLI), and Shri Sanjit Dutta, AGM(C&I).
In a thoughtful effort to ensure universal accessibility, training booklets were distributed in Bengali, English, and Hindi. This move guarantees effective dissemination of knowledge to all participants, regardless of their language preference. This program is expected to amplify the skill development of contract workers, thereby improving the service quality and safety at NTPC Farakka.
