Second Israeli air strike on Syria targetting regime military force

News Desk: A second Israeli air strike, after February 9, on Syria took place on a town south of Damascus causing material damage. As per reports, Israel fired several surface-to-surface missiles.

Earlier this month a Syrian soldier got killed and five got wounded in an attack near Damascus.

As per a war monitor, the missile was targeted at a regime military force.

“The shelling targeted a regime military post” Rami Abdel Rahman, who heads the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Since civil war broke out in Syria in 2011, Israel has carried out hundreds of air strikes, targeting government positions as well as Iran backed forces and fighters of the Shiite militant movement Hezbollah.
