News Desk: Amid ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, Maxar’s high-resolution satellite images revealed increased military activity around Ukraine’s borders in the past 48 hours. It showed a massive build-up of Russian troops in Belarus, Crimea, and western Russia.
The images also showed deployment of ground attack aircraft and fighter bomb jets at forward locations.
The areas where Russia increased its forces are mostly located in the North and northeast of Ukraine. It also includes a large airbase to the Southeast of Ukraine and in Crimea.
The tension between Russia and Ukraine reached the point where Indian citizens and students have been advised to leave Ukraine and those who would remain behind are to stay in touch with the embassy.
