TMC and BJP MLA’s scuffle on last day of assembly session; speaker suspends five BJP MLA’s

News Desk: On the last day of the assembly session on Monday, clashes broke out between TMC and BJP MPs.

It is learned that at the beginning of the session, the BJP MLAs were reprimanded by Speaker Biman Banerjee for creating problems in the proceedings of the session. After that, the BJP MLAs started protesting. BJP legislators came out and started protesting, questioning the SIT formation and the role of the chief minister in the Bagtui case. After that they got involved in clashes with the TMC MLAs.

Opposition leader Suvendu Adhikari claimed that 10 MLAs of BJP were injured. On the other hand, Asit Majumdar, a TMC MLA from Chunchura, was taken to SSKM after his nose ruptured.

After this incident, Speaker suspends five BJP MLAs – Suvendu Adhikari, Manoj Tigga, Narhari Mahat. Deepak Barman and Shankar Ghosh.
