Nadia: To commemorate the Golden Jubilee Year of liberation of Bangladesh, a joint cycle rally with Indian Army and BD Army was held w.e.f. 15-19 Nov 2021 from Jessore district of Bangladesh to Gede-Darshana Zero Point today at 1030 hrs.
In this rally, a total of 20 members led by Major Mahmood Afzal from Bangladesh army and a total of 19 members under the leadership of Colonel Dhapola Assan from India army participated.
Shri Prathvee Singh Commandant SHQ BSF Krishnanagar, Shri Madhukar Juiyal, 2IC/Offg Comdt 54 Bn BSF, Brigadier Satish Trivedi and Colonel Raja Wangdi Serpa from Indian Army were present on the the Gede zero point for welcome of this rally.
The cycle rally was accorded a grand welcome given by the Sector Headquarters Krishnanagar BSF and Piper Band of Assam Rifles. This was followed by a spectacular cultural programme with great enthusiasm.
