News Desk: Unrest as soon as bypolls started. Allegations of terror and fake voters on TMC by the three oppositions – BJP, CPM and Congress.
BJP candidates Agnimitra Paul and Keya Ghosh complained to Election Commission about influencing candidates and misuse of police by the TMC. Agnimitra Paul got involved in a scuffle with police in Asansol and Keya Ghosh had an argument with the state police over it’s presence in booth.
Not only the main opposition, the CPM and Congress too alleged use of fake voters and attack by TMC workers. CPM Saira Shah Halim alleged that a women without voter card voted in the election. On the other hand, Congress candidate Kamruzzaman Choudhury alleged that his car has been vandalised and was attacked by TMC workers. Both of them complained to Election Commission too.
