Tapan Kandu Murder Case: Fire broke out in Jhalda’s old police station on Monday morning

News Desk: Fire broke out in Jhalda’s old police station on Monday morning. A fire engine arrived at the scene to bring the situation under control.

From the old police station, 36 CCTV footages of Jhalda municipality were monitored. Before the murder of Congress councilor Tapan Kandu, on the day of the murder, almost all the CCTV footage of Jhalda town was taken to the Purulia district police office. Most of the footage from there has already passed into the hands of CBI officials.

Purulia district police could not give any footage before March 28 of the new police station to CBI before March 28. As a result, there may be some problems in the investigation. That is why the CBI is not taking the fire in the old police station of Jhalda lightly.
