Md Nawaj Shorif, Natun Gati: Masiur Rahman Shanto, one of the most popular radio jockeys in Bangladesh. Today is the birthday of this young writer and presenter. Masiur Rahman Shanto is popularly known as RJ Shanto. Some of his programs are very popular in the radio world. But he feels more comfortable seeing himself as a storyteller. Already 17 of his books have been published. Among which Bhorer Rong Kaalo, Be Positive, Train to Kashmir, Abhimaner Shohor, Teen Basanta have received tremendous response.
Apart from media, he is the founder of Bangladesh’s first story telling platform “Turning Talks Bangladesh” and serves as the CEO of “Voyage Factory Bangladesh”.
In recognition of his work, he received the Global Youth Parliament Award 2021 from the President of Nepal and the World Diplomacy Forum Award 2023 from Thailand.He also established “Amader Ananda Ashram” organization for youth. In spite of all this, he constantly thinks of his own writerly self and he runs in search of stories. He wants to tell people’s stories till the last breath of life.
