Debjit Mukherjee, Kolkata: State government challenges Jadavpur University interim vice-chancellor appointment in Supreme Court. The case is likely to be heard before the division bench of Justice Dipankar Dutta on Monday.
The newly appointed vice-chancellor Buddhadev Sahu said, “I don’t know anything about it. I’m not saying anything. My employer is governor. If the appointment is questioned, all action will be taken by the employer. I will join the work, as promised. I will go to university at 11 am on Monday.”
