BJP leader attacked in Nandigram, accuses TMC

Debjit Mukherjee, Midnapore: A BJP leader, Mamoni Jana, was allegedly attacked by a few miscreants in the Shamshabad area of Nandigram, West Bengal, on Monday. The BJP accused TMC backed goons for the attack. As per the information, Mamoni Jana, a BJP women’s cell leader of Nandigram block 1, was attacked by some unidentified goons when she was on her way back home. She was attacked by sharp weapons. Soon after the attack, Jana was rushed to a nearby hospital. A police complaint was lodged, but no person has been arrested so far. However, the TMC has denied any sort of allegations with regard to the attack on the opposition party leader.
