52th Annual conference of Indian Anthropological Society at Tripura University

Sk Md Imran : 52th Annual Conference of Indian Anthropological Society and international Seminar has been completed Successfully from 22-24 Nov, 2022 at Tripura University in colleboration with ‘Centre of Social Exclusion and inclusive policy’. The theme of the Seminar was “Sustainable Development Goals 2030: Role of Anthropology in Social Inclusion and Tribal Development”. During the inauguration HOD of SSE & IP and Convenor of the conference Dr. Rajes Chakraborty, Vice president of IAS Prof. Arup Ratan Bandopadhyay, Deputy Chief Minister of Tripura Jishnu Dev Verma Ji, Vice chancellor of the Tripura University Prof. Ganga Prasad Prasain, Direct of IGNOU Dr. Arabindo Mahato; Secretary of the Indian Anthropological Society Prof. Subir Kumar Biswas were present as guest of session.
During this period, three memorial lectures of pioneering Anthropologists were delivered by the three eminent Scholars of Anthropology in India. A young researcher Professor Dr. Deblina De was awarded by Indian Anthropological Society.In this Seminar 124 international and national researcher presented their valuable Research paper. The participants were present from five countries i.e. Astriya, Russia, USA, Bangladesh, and India. To conclude the three day international seminar, Vice Chancellor Tripura University Prof. Ganga Prasad Prasain, GM NABARD, Registrar Tripura University and Tripura State Prisons Minister were present. The Guest of the valedictory session given their valedictory speech and distributed the certificate to the paper presenter.
