Manipur violence: State government submitted report on recovered weapons

Debjit Mukherjee: Manipur government submitted a report to the Supreme Court on how many weapons were recovered. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that the affidavit in this regard was submitted to the bench headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud on Friday.

On September 6, the Supreme Court had directed the Manipur government and law enforcement agencies to submit a report on the recovered weapons. A report has been submitted on Friday. In this regard, Tushar Mehta said that all the information about the disputed matter has been brought to the notice of the committee appointed by the Supreme Court. The panel is looking into it. The hearing will be held on September 25.
