Debjit Mukherjee: After Sanatan Dharma, Udayanidhi Stalin made explosive comments about President Draupadi Murmu. He said, “The new parliament building has been inaugurated. But the country’s first citizen was not invited because he is a widow and a representative of the tribal community. Is this Sanatan Dharma? We will be against it.”
He also mentioned that Hindi film actresses were also invited when the Women Reservation Bill was introduced in parliament. However, the president is excluded due to personal identity. Such a decision indicates the influence of ‘Sanatana Dharma’.
