News Desk: Finally, the sex workers got legal recognition. The Supreme Court recognized prostitution as a ‘profession’.
There are several guidelines for sex workers. The division bench said, “If a sex worker is harassed at workplace, she must be given all possible legal assistance and police should maintain confidentiality of their identities during police raids. Sex workers cannot be separated from their children”.
