This program has been started a few days ago by different police stations of Paschim Midnapore district. Incidentally, under the direction of the district police, the district police has already undertaken several programs to build closer relations with the common people, such as – Safe Drive Save Life, Drawing Competition, Model Competition, Sports Competition, Blood Donation Camp, etc. This time under the direction of the district police, “Songjog ebong Somadhan” (‘connection and solution’) is sitting in the neighborhoods.
The purpose of this program is to expedite the disposal of grievances. All these problems will be solved through this program.
On Wednesday, a “Songjog ebong Somadhan” (‘Connection and Solution’) camp was organized at the premises of Mugbasan Hakkania High School under Keshpur Police Station in Paschim Midnapore District. On this day Paschim Midnapore Police Superintendent Sri Dinesh Kumar, Additional SP Amlan Kusum Ghosh, Keshpur Police Officer-in-Charge Anjani Kumar Tewari and other officers visited the camp. It is learned that a total of 30 complaints were lodged on this day. The initiative of the district police is said to be aimed at maintaining good relations with the general public and providing speedy police co-operation.
