Rampurhat Fire: Calcutta HC accepted self-motivated lawsuit; CM Mamata Banerjee to visit Rampurhat tomorrow

News Desk: The Calcutta High Court has accepted a self-motivated lawsuit in the Rampurhat fire incident. The hearing will be at 2pm today. After the commencement of proceedings in the High Court today, the Chief Justice informed the Advocate General of the State Soumendranath Mukherjee about it.

On the other hand Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, from Netaji Indoor Stadium, announced that she will go to Rampurhat tomorrow. She said “What happened in Rampurhat is unfortunate. But a group of people are conspiring to defame the government. The once you are involved will not be spared. I have called at least 50 times since the incident happened yesterday. I immediately removed the OC and SDPO. We formed a SIT. The DG is there. Firhad Hakim is there. I will go to Rampurhat myself tomorrow”.
