News Desk: Opposition tone within party! Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai publicly opposed Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s forceful imposition of Hindi.
He made it clear that “Tamil Nadu will not allow the BJP to impose Hindi in the state. Rather, the party will be proud if Tamil is used as a connecting language in the country”.
He added “We Indians have no need to learn Hindi to prove it. One can learn Hindi or any language for employment or livelihood issues. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi hopes that everyone will learn their regional language”.
