West Bengal: CM Mamata Banerjee to hold separate review meeting over opening of schools and colleges

News Desk: Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal, in an administrative review meeting said that as COVID cases are on the rise, a separate review meeting will be held to decide whether schools and colleges will be allowed to open. She added that schools and colleges will be closed if students start to get more Covid infections.

In the meeting, she added that students’ day would be celebrated from January 1 to 7. Students will also be given credit cards in a program organised at the Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata on January 3.

Mamata Banerjee inaugurated 29 projects worth rupee 866 crore for South 24 pargana and Gangasagar in an administrative review meeting in Gangasagar today.
