Dr. Jernail Singh Anand nominated as Honorary member of The Association of Serbian Writers

Lutub Ali, 20 November: Poet Dr. JS Anand receive prestigious membership of The Association of Serbian writers. Indian author Dr. Jernail Singh Anand nominated as Honorary member of The Association. This appointment gain significance in view of the fact just around a century back, ine November 1926, Indian Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore too received this honour.

Dr. Maja Herman Seculic, the Serbian author, who was recently in Chandigarh to attend fourth international literature summit and world poetry conference disclosed that Nobel laureates Ivo andric American poet Joseph Brodsky, British play right director and actor Harold printer, and Australian novelist, playwright, translator and film director peter Handke are among those literary greats who received this Honour.

Dr. Anand has authored more than 150 books in English poetry, fiction, non fiction, spirituality and philosophy. He is credited with the theory of Biotext in critical theory. His work has been translated into more than 20 World languages. Author of 9 epics which are regarded as modern classics, Anand has organized four international literary conferences, latest up then in Chandigarh where Serbian poet Dr.Maja Harman Seculic was The conference Chair.
