Debjit Mukherjee: An Ayodhya resident has constructed a temple dedicated to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Bharatkund area, about 25 km away from the Ram Janambhoomi site.
The construction of this temple was started the same day (August 5, 2020) Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation of the Ram Temple.
The temple has a life-size statue of the CM wielding a bow and arrows and a halo behind his head. The statue is clad in saffron robes. Special prayers are offered twice a day and ‘prasad’ is distributed among worshippers.
