Debjit Mukherjee, Kolkata: The CBI on Monday arrested seven persons for allegedly murdering a man named Sridhar Das on May 4, 2021 in Cooch Behar district during post-poll violence in West Bengal.
According to the CBI, Das was beaten with sticks and iron rods. They further alleged that when his wife tried to rescue him, the accused persons attacked her as well.
