News Desk: BJP candidate from Sambhal’s Asmoli constituency Harendra Singh Rinku faced the ire of some farmers when he was campaigning in Shakarpur village. A group of angry farmers prevented Singh from campaigning, claiming BJP was against farmers.
The BJP candidate tried to reason with the protesters, saying he would listen to their grievances, but they must stop sloganeering in favour of Samajwadi Party. He later alleged that the protesters were all SP supporters masquerading as farmers.
