Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is facing ED interrogation for the third day in a row in the National Herald case

News Desk: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is facing ED interrogation for the third day in a row in the National Herald case. Before he was released on Tuesday night, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) said the former Congress president would have to appear on Wednesday. Meanwhile, party supporters continued to demonstrate outside the Congress headquarters. Later the police came and arrested them and handed them over to the bus. The barricade in front of the office was broken due to the collision.

At the same time, Congress workers are starting to stage demonstrations at the foot of Gandhi Murti in the Parliament premises. The Congress alleged that Rahul Gandhi is a victim of center’s vindictive politics. In this situation, the doors of the Congress headquarters have been closed for the time being. It has been reported that none other than Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will get access on Wednesday.

It may be mentioned that Rahul Gandhi was first summoned on Monday in the National Herald case. ED officials were not satisfied with his response and summoned him again on Tuesday. On that day, Rahul Gandhi went to the ED office in Delhi at 11:30 am. He was also interrogated till late night on Tuesday.

After that, Rahul went to the ED office again on Wednesday morning. Earlier on Tuesday, he left the office of the Central Investigation Agency and went to Sir Gangaram Hospital to see his mother Sonia Gandhi. Congress president Corona has been undergoing treatment at the hospital since last Sunday. Rahul was accompanied by his sister and Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi.

It is worth mentioning that Sonia has been directed to appear before the ED office on June 23 in this case. She was asked to report to the ED office on June 6. But due to Corona, the 65-year-old Congress leader sought a new date from the investigating agency. The ED then informed him that the veteran leader would also have to appear on June 23.
