Former Tripura minister and his close associate quit BJP and resigned as MLA

News Desk: Former Tripura minister Sudip Roy Barman and his close associate Asish Kumar Saha quit the BJP and also resigned as an MLA on Monday.

Barman and Saha submitted their resignations from Tripura Legislative Assembly to speaker Ratan Chakraborty.

As per reports, the two leaders and other rebel BJP MLAs are expected to reach New Delhi later in the day to join another national party.
