News Desk: When it comes to India versus Pakistan on the field of cricket, the stadium has to get crowded. Interestingly, tickets for the men’s T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan to be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground sold out within five minutes of these being offered to for purchase to the general public.
Though India’s opponent is not yet decided, but tickets for the second group match has also been sold out.
Tournament CEO Michelle Enright said “We know that so far our ticket purchasers are predominantly residing in Australia, so to have two match days with General Ticket allocations all sold that feature India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and South Africa shows the passion for cricket from fans in those communities”.
