News Desk: The Kolkata Knight Riders won a crunch game against KL Rahul’s Kings XI Punjab by just 2 runs. Coming to bat first Kolkata scored a competitive total of 164 with the loss of 6 wickets. Fifties from Dinesh Karthik and opener Shubhman Gill. Karthik topped the batting chart with his 58 off 29 balls and Gill scored 57 off 47.
Coming to chase 165 Punjab made a great start. They lost their first wicket at the score of 115 on the board in the form of Mayank Agarwal who scored 56 off 36. KL Rahul topped the batting chart for his side with his 74 off 58. A last ball boundary from Glenn Maxwell didn’t helped Punjab and they fell short of 3 runs and giving KKR a 2 run victory.
