Indian army rescued 16 trapped in ice due to continuous snowfall

News Desk: A video went viral on social media, where the ones who were rescued by the Indian army, were seen thanking the army. Netizens are overwhelmed by the humanity shown by the soldiers.

It is learned that the Indian army walked about 15 kilometres and saved the lives of 16 people who were trapped in the ice due to continuous snowfall.

One of the survivors, Mohammad Ashraf, said “We got stuck at half past two or three in the afternoon. We were worried about how to get back safely. Our car got stuck in the snow. We were trying to contact the local authorities. The rescue team then reached the spot and brought the stranded people to safety. Their bodies were badly damaged. The army gave them the necessary medicine and food. I have no words to thank them. I would like to thank them for saving their lives”.
