News Desk: No more Al Qaeda. Another name for terror in Afghanistan now is Islamic State (Khorasan). The jihadist group has claimed responsibility for attacks on several mosques in Afghanistan.
The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for an attack on a Shia mosque in Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan, on Thursday. IS even attacked a Shia mosque in Kunduz province.
According to analysts, IS (Khorasan) is challenging Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan. IS jihadists have fought Al Qaeda several times. Many Al Qaeda fighters have already joined IS.
