Punjab governor warns CM Bhagwant Mann of imposing President’s rule in the state

Debjit Mukherjee: Punjab governor Banwarilal Purohit warns chief minister Bhagwant Mann of imposing President’s rule in the state. According to a recent Center report, one out of every five people in Punjab is a drug addict. Drug trade is still going on freely in the state. The governor asked the chief minister for a report on the matter. But the Chief Minister did not submit that report either. After that, the Governor of Punjab wrote to him saying that if the Chief Minister does not respond to the official letter, then he will be forced to recommend the imposition of President’s Rule.
