Debjit Mukherjee: Anubrata Mondal’s bench change request rejected. Before Chief District and Sessions Judge Anju Bajaj Chandna of Rouse Avenue Court, the lawyers of Birbhum Trinamool Congress president claimed that Judge Raghubir Singh was biased.
The hearing cited 15 instances where the judge mentioned something in the written judgment that he did not say during questioning. He has given some judgments, while others have done otherwise.
