“We are committed to the independence of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir”: Union Minister Jitendra Singh

News Desk: Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Sunday assured that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir will be a part of India. He unveiled a 20-foot statue of Maharaja Gulab Singh of Kathua district in Jammu on Sunday.

“A resolution was unanimously passed in the parliament in 1994. It was said that Pakistan should withdraw from the part of illegally occupied Kashmir. We are committed to the independence of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir” he said.

He added “When we talked about the abolition of Article 370, it was out of everyone’s mind. But the BJP has abolished Article 370 as promised. When the Bharatiya Janata Party was formed in 1980, former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee spoke of a landslide victory for the BJP. No one could believe it. But that’s what really happened”.

He then roared “Modi government has come to power at the center with a huge majority. They have kept all their promises. This government will also keep its promise to liberate Pakistan-occupied Kashmir”.
