Vandalism during prayer in Bangladesh ISKCON’s Radhakant temple

News Desk: ISKCON authorities alleged extensive vandalism in Radhakant temple of ISKCON in Bangladesh.

It is learned that the temple was attacked during prayers in the evening. Later the police came and handled the situation.

According to local sources, the land on which the temple is located has been in dispute for a long time. Recently, the court’s verdict went in favor of the plaintiff. Since then he has been trying to establish his ownership over the land. The situation was under control for so many days due to the intervention of the local administration. But on Thursday there was a sudden commotion.

Kolkata ISKCON’s Radharaman Das and Indian High Commission have expressed concern over the incident. The Indian High Commission has been in touch with the Government of Bangladesh, the country’s minority groups and its leaders and ministers.
